COVID Special project 2020-2023: Small drawings from sketch books

 I should have posted these small drawings/sketches to my art blog but I forgot how to get in the blog. 

yesterday I spent so much time selecting images from the last 3 years making art. I have been making so many things during COVID and did not post any. 

During COVID, figure drawing Sunday club at UW shut down and I think it shut down for good. So sad to know. COVID then break.-in incidents/art commputers and material got stollen during weekend. So the art building in UW will not open for general public for now. Such a sad move. 

I miss the Sunday drawing. 

These are small drawings of Seattle streets or scene I went during covid. 

I will call COVID special since I done things without any theme. Just making art to keep myself stay alive. Small drawings/hand made books and quiltings. I made a lot of big quits during this time. Will post soon. 

Pilgrim, first hand-made book of 2024

 I finished the book yesterday, the first day of 2024.

All the materials are recycled from books, newspapers, and posters that I collected mostly in 2023. 

The name Pilgrim came up after the book was almost done. 

From the beginning I knew that I wanted to make a book but not sure what would be about. Just having fun during the cold/wet/supper dark Seattle during the holiday. 

The more I worked on it, the more it started to make sense. Very happy it turned out nice. The right start for a 2024.
