This is a beautiful and one of the most important pictures in my art career. I could recall so many connections and important people from this picture. My quilt, Jame Du, Vu Hoang Lan ( the person who took the picture) , Caroline Kieu Linh, VAALA people, Hao Nhien, Ngoc Lan, my mom, my mother in -law, my family and more.....
Again, I am really appreciated anh Lan so much for this picture.
And go get Kieu Linh's new book "Transnationalizing Vietnam" .
This is one of the most important books in Vietnamese contemporary history !
